HELLO! I am so excited you’re here and reading this and looking at my blog! This is the first post and just a place to learn more about me and my background.
For the longest time I wanted to start something bigger then myself, but I didn’t know what. As a little girl I wanted to be an author, but decided to follow a different passion. Baking! I started small; decorating cakes for my family and making cookies and brownies. In high school I had the opportunity to go to a tech school here in Mesa, Arizona and I haven’t stopped since!
I am a pastry/pasta chef in Phoenix, Arizona; I 100000% know this is what I was born to do! The restaurant industry can be very hard! Through my years working in this industry I have learned that first hand. While it has been a struggle at times, it has pushed me harder to grow and learn more and more.
Mixing the two things that I love and have wanted to do with my life only makes sense to me. With the support and loving words from family and friends I decided to blog my way through a cookbook that I randomly bought on amazon one day after hearing the author talk on a podcast (flourhour). The first cookbook I will be baking my way through will be Layered by Tessa Huff (stylesweetdaily on Instagram). I really wish to continue doing this for many of years and be able to give others tips and tricks on how they navigate their way through a cookbook. Oddly, I don’t know anyone that has cooked/baked through a cookbook; so this is going to be an adventure for sure!
